Thanksgiving is a time when counting our blessings and being thankful are the order of the day. So in honor of the holiday I thought I would get us all started by counting my blessings. Here are a few of the things I am thankful for today:

- My wife
- My son
- My Indianapolis district family
- good friends (you know who you are)
- critics. They are the ones who have pointed out things that friends never would and by doing so have helped me immeasurably.
- Salvation
- Freedom
- The call God placed upon my life
- The Bible
- The Church
- USA
- The people who keep us free and safe, soldiers, police, fire and all others who aid in our safety and security
- Plenty to eat
- The abilty to work
- health

- college basketball.

- A home
- pastors
- Olivet Nazarene University Where I learned to know of truth.
- Nazarene Theological Seminary. Where my theological foundation was built
- The churches I pastored
- coffee
- ice cream
- Sunday School Here is where the foundations were started at an early age.

- GPS I am not sure how I got anywhere in the old days
- The people who pick up our trash and haul it to the landfill. We take this for granted but it does not happen in most parts of the world
- Hospitals and their employees who hare waiting for us and we pray we never need them, but we are glad they are available.
