5     Take good care of those you love.

6     Have a grateful heart.

7     Treat everyone like you would want to be treated.

8     Discipline yourself to save even on the most modest salary.

9     Commit yourself to constant improvement.

10   Persistence, persistence, persistence.

11   Commit yourself to quality.

12   Understand that happiness is not based on possessions, or power or prestige, but on the relationships with those you love and respect.

13   Be loyal.

14   Be honest.

15   Be a self-starter.

16   Be decisive even if sometimes it means you will be wrong.

17   Stop blaming others, take responsibility for every area of your life.

18   Be bold and courageous. When you look back on your life, you’ll regret the things that you didn’t do, more than the things that you did.

Success is not predicated on your bank account.  It has to do with the true riches of life, a relationship with our Heavenly Father, our family and friends.  Success is doing what we are dong with all of our heart.  Servanthood is a success value.

One Thought to “21 Suggestions for Success”

  1. Susanne Blake

Be willing to do more than is expected.
    Enjoy others successes.
Encourage yourself that you are always more than anything you allow to define you.
Pray, pray, and always be in prayer for others and yourself.
Never let others determine your value or worth by their lack of interest, rejection of ideas, or their unwillingness to acknowledge your personal accomplishments.
    The list goes on…..
Thanks for stretching my thinking that success is a state of mind and of living out what we believe to be important.
